Marion & Allen P.C.
Marion & Allen, P.C., founded by attorneys Roger K. Marion and Brad C. Allen is a boutique law firm based in Manhattan, New York. Unlike large firms that are often too big to provide adequate customized attention to client needs, we are uniquely sized and positioned to provide results and remain accessible.
Our Practice Areas
“No one hires an attorney to fight, they hire one to win.”

Commercial Litigation
We bring decades of litigation experience and love the work, helping clients pursue goals with strong courtroom advocacy. We stand out for uncommon service: we return calls and emails, share cell numbers, and answer quick questions without the clock running, treating clients like friends. Our reputation is backed by consistently strong online reviews and long-term client relationships.

Contract Negotiation
Contracts should do more than list rights and responsibilities. We draft with disputes in mind, defining cure periods, ownership, and remedies so everyone knows what happens if a deal breaks down. As litigators, we know what holds up in court, helping prevent disputes and reduce fees. We handle agreements from employment and severance to joint ventures, distribution, mergers and acquisitions.

Mortgage Banking Law
Brad Allen has served as in-house counsel to a major mortgage banker, and his experience with the evolving laws that govern mortgage banking is a key resource for any brokerage or mortgage bank. If your compliance officer needs a second opinion, Brad Allen can provide the expertise, practical guidance, and support you need to stay compliant, confident, and audit-ready before issues become costly.

Real Estate
Trusted by top NYC luxury developers and individual homebuyers, we bring deep experience in mortgage banking, loan origination, and creative real estate financing, with a strong focus on state and federal compliance. From Hillsborough condos to Midtown co-ops and NJ attorney review, we give clear counsel. If fraud concealed defects or facts, we can pursue just compensation.

In-House & Start-Ups
We have served as in-house counsel to more than a dozen companies, from international payment services and scalable computing ventures to start-ups. We provide practical legal advice that fits your needs and budget. Whether you need contracts, a sounding board, or a litigation team, you can call or meet with a familiar attorney and get the benefits of in-house counsel without the cost of a full-time lawyer’s salary.

Construction Litigation
Marion & Allen brings heavyweight construction litigation experience, representing New York developers and purchasers of construction services. From contract disputes and change orders to delays, defects, and payment claims, we know how to protect your position and push cases toward resolution. If construction litigation is looming, it is time to call in an expert. Call early, before costs spiral.

Bankruptcy
Bankruptcy is not the end, it is a new beginning. If debts are overwhelming, creditors are closing in, or bills are 60 days past due, it may be time to talk with a bankruptcy attorney about a fresh start for a reasonable fee. For businesses, we assess bankruptcy vs dissolution or winding up, and flag risks like fraudulent transfers and liability that may follow. Call for a free consultation.

Criminal Defense
Since leaving the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in 1995, Roger Marion has defended clients in federal, state, and local courts across New York and New Jersey, from serious white-collar felonies to imminent arrests, investigations, and grand jury subpoenas. When your rights are on the line, you can depend on Marion & Allen for steady, strategic defense and clear guidance.

Other Legal Needs
Marion & Allen combines big-firm experience with boutique responsiveness and fair pricing. We advise businesses and individuals on a wide range of matters, including corporate counseling, mortgage banking compliance, commercial contracts and litigation, asset acquisitions, bankruptcy, and complex real estate issues. Every matter is led by a partner or of-counsel, with a clear plan built to win.
About Us
Marion & Allen brings big-firm experience with the personal service and fair pricing of a boutique firm. Founded by Roger Marion and Brad Allen after leaving a larger Park Avenue practice, we built this firm on a simple belief: clients deserve results, responsiveness, and value. We focus on corporate compliance, mortgage banking, real estate, commercial litigation, personal injury, and high-stakes civil fraud. Every matter is supervised by a partner or of-counsel with relevant expertise, with associates supporting research, documents, and minor appearances. Clients receive partner-level attention at every stage. We also serve as outside in-house counsel for businesses that need steady guidance. We negotiate contracts, handle disputes, support asset acquisitions, manage bankruptcy issues, and tackle complex condo and real estate matters with a clear plan.

Roger K. Marion, Esq.
Clients deserve a lawyer who fights to win, not just to bill. I am a complex commercial litigator who has successfully represented my clients’ interests in the federal and state courts of New York and New Jersey for more than thirty years.
I am also retained corporate counsel to several corporations, giving them contract negotiation and litigation expertise, as well as a responsiveness and fairness with regard to billing that they are not always accustomed to.
I have specialization in complex commercial litigation, contracts, contract negotiations, appeals, mediation and arbitration. I have been to trial and won against the largest of opponents, including the United States Attorney’s Office and many others. I also specialize in fairness to my clients, and at Marion & Allen, initial consultations are always free.

Brad C. Allen, Esq.
Problem solving, before and after issues arise, is what separates adequate representation from a lawyer clients brag about.
